NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Today the broadband decided to go down. I am five days from a deadline and need to access 19th century newspaper archives. As good as this phone is, I don't think I can read scanned images of 3pt font on it.

I guess I'll work on the footnotes and proof reading, and not just weep quietly in the corner.

That is Not Good! Hopefully it will return soon? I am currently staring in despair at the length of the suggested INITIAL reading list for assignment due in 2 weeks. However have cracked and bought a kindle to help with reading the endless pdfs, which should arrive today at some point. TOTALLY for educational purposes.

Don't panic about the reading lists. I forgot to look at one of them for the module I got the highest mark for! I just read stuff I found myself.

I'm sure it won't be so bad once I get stuck in, it was just the initial shock of seeing it all... Also new kindle (when it arrives) will be immediately useful as can take it with me to go see unhurt tomorrow and thus ... absorb knowledge from it being in my bag?

FYI, have found something that for some reason is NOT in my kindle intro guide - email pdf to your @kindle.com address. make subject line of email "convert" (no " "s obv.). pdf will magically become an ebook.
